Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy one of Canada's most successful TV actresses was born 25 November 1968, in Edmonton Alberta. She starred with Chris Noth in Law and Order. Her father was John Hennessy. John Hennessy's work as a meat-salesman and marketing executive meant a amount of travel, so his family moved frequently. In 1982, her mother Maxine had to leave her family and the daughter was cared for mostly with Eleanor her maternal grandmother, who lives in Kitchener Ontario. She has a twin sister Jacqueline is an American magazine editor, and her brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. was raised in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, Swedish, Italian and French descent from her father's side and carries a majority of Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She attended Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to appear in the subway system of Toronto. She and her sister were the first twins to make their debut as call girls in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who played Dana Scully at The X-Files, claimed that Hennessy was considered to play the character. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two kids together.
